Austin Fraser : Second Floor
International recruitment consultancy Austin Fraser’s rapid expansion meant they needed additional floor space in central Reading and decided to expand into an additional floor at One Forbury Square allowing the existing floor to be re-planned as a sales floor.
Metrix were tasked with designing and fitting out the 3rd floor to include training facilities, meeting rooms, directors suite and admin & finance areas. An important area of the design was to include relaxation space for staff to include pool tables, table football, drinks fridges and bar areas.
The scope of works included solid and glazed partitions, electrical works, air conditioning, acoustic flooring, new kitchen, suspended ceilings, access control & AV installations
Bespoke furniture was made up for the training facilities, directors suite and the scheme was complemented with workstations and seating manufactured by Orangebox & Elite.
As part of the contract Metrix also provided new height adjustable workstations to the sales floor.
