Drake Beam Morin Plc (DBM) had decided in late 2001 to relocate their London SW1 office to new premises in Berkshire.

Thames Tower in Reading was chosen as the new site and Metrix Interiors along with an already long established supplier and one other were invited to tender for the design and fitting out of the new office.

Our brief was to design an environment, which not only catered for staff needs but also where applicants could be interviewed and utilize the offices for networking with other applicants and organizations.

The scheme featured full height silicon jointed glass fronts to interview rooms and offices, complimented with full height beech doors and frames.

Air conditioning was introduced to the boardroom and server room along with general power and data throughout.

Desking by Sven Christiansen together with seating by Dauphin and full height storage walls gave the finishing touches.
