A new headquarters, bought from the developers as shell and core. Uniglobe to occupy one third of space, and sub-let remainder. Three organisations, including Metrix, asked to provide design and fit-out proposals.

OUTCOME:
Metrix wins contract.
Space divided into 3 equal units, sharing kitchen and toilet facilities.
Plant room constructed for aircon and other services.
Specify and install fire alarms, Category 2 and emergency lighting.
Provide and install cabling, switching and infrastructure for lighting, power, telecoms and datacoms
Build steel encapsulated raised floors.
Build Armstrong and MF suspended ceiling.
Supply and fit floor covering from Amtico and Modulus.
Decorate throughout.

RESULT:
Uniglobe in occupation. Other units profitably sub-let.
