Bracknell Forest Homes

Bracknell Forest Homes is a new organisation set up to own and manage over 5000 homes in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Requiring new offices to promote their own identity from the local authority Bracknell Forest Homes selected ‘Metier House’ a 30,000 sq ft headquarters building in Bracknell for their new HQ.

LSM were appointed to Project Manage the fit-out and after a 2 week tender process involving 4 companies Metrix Interiors were chosen as main contractors to undertake the works.

The project comprised the fitting out of 20,000 sq ft on the ground and 1st floors, with the 2nd floor due to be sub-let to another tenant.

Works included: Komfort partitioning, mechanical works, electrical alterations, voice and data installation, security, plumbing, flooring including new ceramics, bespoke joinery and furniture.

The programme was extremely tight however; Metrix completed the works within the 7 week programme to the client’s satisfaction.
