Uniglobe with offices in Reading, London and Plymouth chose to invest into a new 8000 sq ft freehold Head Quarters Building.
The building chosen was Queens Wharf which was purchased from the developers in a shell and core state.
Metrix Interiors along with 2 other Design and Build organizations were invited to submit proposals for the fitting out.
The client chose to occupy only a third of the building and sub-let two other areas.
Our proposals included dividing the area into three and providing shared toilet and kitchen facilities for all three tenants.
A new plant room was built housing air conditioning systems for the whole building along with fire alarms, Cat2 and emergency lighting, power and data supplies. Armstrong and MF ceilings were installed along with steel encapsulated raised floors. Floor coverings from Amtico and Modulus along with decoration throughout completed the scheme.
